As a mom of four kids (and three fur babies), I’ll be the first to confess that my days can get a little crazy. From driving the kids to and from school, dropping them off at dance or sports practice, and running errands in between—sometimes I get worn out! Which is exactly why I needed a spa day! To treat myself (and fellow mom-boss Sarah), I booked a day for us at the Driftwood Spa in the Four Seasons Residence Club Aviara. Aside from being absolutely gorgeous, this day spa offered everything I needed to forget all my stress. (At least for a few hours!)
The Perfect Spa Day
While the property offers an amazing pool, fitness center, and coastal dining, I kicked off my morning with my first treatment. I couldn’t wait to feel all of that stress and tension leave my body. For a deep cleanse, I opted for the deeply hydrating Oxygeneo 3-in-1 Super Facial to start. This professional strength medi-spa treatment left me feeling rejuvenated (and looking younger)!
I finished up with the highly remineralizing Salt Stone Massage, where I was rubbed down head-to-toe with warm hand-carved salt stones from the Himalayan Mountains. It was ultra-luxurious, and I felt like jello by the time they were done.
My friend Sarah switched it up, choosing the invigorating Aviara Sugar Glow and ending with the radiant Swift Lift Peptide Firming Facial. Her skin was absolutely glowing by the time she was done. I can’t wait to try these the next time I go. I highly recommend checking out the spa service menu they have on their website! They have so many options. I want them all, seriously.

Rest And Relaxation
After my massage and facial, I was on cloud nine! My skin felt radiant, the tension in my neck and shoulder was gone, and I felt awesome. Thankfully I didn’t have to rush back to reality. Driftwood Spa offers an amazing Relaxation Lounge where you can sip Champagne, meditate, or just enjoy a silent moment. I wanted to move in immediately.
Later, we popped over to the Palmera Pool for drinks and bites. Lounging after a morning in the spa made the day that much better. The pool menu offers a wide selection from roasted fish tacos to brick oven pizza. We opted for some hand-crafted cocktails to finish up the day.
Holiday craziness is right around the corner, so it’s a must that you put yourself in a zen state of mind. Thank you, Driftwood Spa, for the most relaxing day this mom has had in a while!
