My Must-Have Summer Date Night Looks

With four kids, Bobby and I will take any opportunity for a little date night! Whether that’s a proper sit-down dinner event or a quick coffee just the two of us during the day. We’ll take it! For summer date night looks, I want that perfect balance of feeling dressed up and still feeling cool and comfortable. You won’t see me stuffing my feet into high heels these days, but that doesn’t mean I can’t still feel beautiful!

As much as I love color, I also love a great neutral look. My closet is filled with timeless neutrals to mix and match or put together for a chic monochromatic look. Here, I paired a cream mini skirt with a black scoop-neck top and an oversized black blazer. The blazer gives this look that stylish edge, especially when paired with chic black mules and a statement crossbody bag. This gives me a European feel, and I love it!

It’s no surprise I’m also a pattern queen. I love a good pattern! Give me florals, stripes, colors—it doesn’t matter what it is, I will always find room in my closet for a great print. I fell in love with this turquoise floral print dress and immediately saw my next date night looks. The ruffles give it an extra flair, and the v-cut is super flattering. I kept my accessories simple with neutral tan heels, a chic brown leather handbag, and my favorite pair of shades. This has been one of my favorite fits for a dressy lunch or happy hour with Bobby.
