My Favorite Casual Looks for Summer

While I always love a good glam moment, my favorite fashion moments come from the everyday—lunch with friends, a day trip with the family, or shopping solo. I love putting together fun, casual looks. Give me band t-shirts, oversized sweatshirts, a simple skirt, or sneakers. My happy place is an outfit that’s comfortable, playful, and totally my own.

One of my favorite trends this year is pastel! I love the bright colors we’re seeing and couldn’t resist incorporating some into my looks this summer. My oversized Pink Floyd sweatshirt has been my go-to for months. It’s super comfortable and makes a statement with the gorgeous lilac color. Similarly, my sweet tangerine set is my favorite lounge look for hanging out around the house or running errands, completed with white slides and an easy low bun. Another beloved color piece is my pink midi skirt. Paired with white sneakers and an oversized sweater, it’s an effortless look thrown together in minutes.

The key to nailing those casual looks is all about balance. When I incorporated those oversized tops or sweaters, I leveled out the look with a more straight-line midi skirt, form-fitting mini skirt, or pair of denim shorts. The same is true with working with bold colors! I balance out the look with neutrals and simple accessories. I love tossing on my white cowboy boots, white hat, sneakers, and crossbody bags to create looks that are just as comfortable as they are stylish!
