Summer is literally days away and I’m already wearing all my warm-weather outfits. After spending the majority of spring inside and quarantined, all I want to do it head outside, hang out with friends and visit all my favorite spots. But since I can’t, I have to make the most of my time at home. For me, that means dressing up, putting on a little makeup and grabbing my favorite shoes. Even if I’m just dressing up for family dinner on the patio!
Sure, I’ve been coping with this quarantine with a major amount of retail therapy. But now I have a beautiful summer wardrobe with so many outfits to choose from! Light and airy dresses, flowing fabrics, comfortable sandals and the best bags that are just made for a day at the beach. But instead of a beach day, I’m spending time with the kids, and having my own fashion show around the house! Take a look at my favorite pieces this summer and grab a few for your own closet!

“Style is the only thing you can’t buy. It’s not in a shopping bag, a label, or a price tag. It’s something reflected from our soul to the outside world—an emotion.”—Alber Elbaz
“As a woman gets older, it’s more about style than fashion. A woman knowing herself more and more, and looking for new things, is getting into her own personal style, being more than just a fashion addict. I’m interested in that.” —Nicolas Ghesquière
“Girls do not dress for boys. They dress for themselves, and of course, each other. If girls dressed for boys, they’d just walk around naked at all times.” —Betsey Johnson
“What’s my style is not your style, and I don’t see how you can define it. It’s something that expresses who you are in your own way.” —Iris Apfel
“What you wear is how you present yourself to the world, especially today, when human contacts are so quick. Fashion is instant language.” —Miuccia Prada
