A Dog’s Journey Is a Must-See

Some friendships transcend lifetimes. In “A Dog’s Journey,” the sequel to the heartwarming global hit “A Dog’s Purpose,” beloved dog Bailey finds his new destiny and forms an unbreakable bond that will lead him, and the people he loves, to places they never imagined. Every dog happens for a reason and no dog owner can define their pet with just a single word, especially after it leaves us. Saying goodbye to the pet you love is like having all of your nerve endings exposed, and more often than not, we outlive our pets and have to face that agony. However, I simply couldn’t imagine life without my dogs. Going down the unpathed roads of life with a dog by your side can be the most nurturing and fulfilling experience we can have as humans.

The Story Behind the Movie

Bruce Cameron, along with with his now wife, Kathryn Michon, are the screenwriters for this brilliantly laid out, and heartwarming film. The premise of this film stemmed from a personal experience they had shared at a time when they were dating. Cameron shares how his narrative would soon become the first of a series of best-selling books. During our interview, we learn the process he went through, from best-selling book to best-selling movie series, with more on the way!
