Join the Susan G. Komen Virtual Race For the Cure

We might all be stuck at home, but that doesn’t mean we can’t help others! And right now, I cannot begin to tell you guys how honored I am to be partnering with Susan G. Komen Greater NYC as one of their Power30 Ambassadors! To honor their 30th Anniversary, I’ll be joining this year’s virtual Race for the Cure and Journey To 30 campaign!

This year, they are honoring their 30th Annual Race for the Cure with a 30 hour Virtual Race Extravaganza and Journey to 30 Challenge starting on September 12th. And you better believe I’m already counting down the days!

Over the past 30 years, Komen NYC has had over 400,000 people race towards a cure for breast cancer.

Celebrating the Community

For the past 30 years, The Komen Community has raced together in an effort to end breast cancer. But on September 12-13, 2020, we’ll race together, apart. Everything that you love about the annual Susan G. Komen Race For the Cure can still be enjoyed, just digitally. Featured live events will include opening and closing ceremonies, a Kids for the Cure celebration, a virtual Survivor/Thriver Ceremony and Celebration of Hope. Enjoy sponsored start and finish lines with photos, as well as live and pre-recorded celebrity videos.

Additionally, the Journey To 30 campaign, a 30-day, live-streaming event, will be a multi-dimensional program that will keep people having fun and coming together. Participate in streams on fitness, cooking, or just day-to-day activities, there’s something fun for everyone.

New Yorkers have raised over $80 million for Susan G. Komen to fund local programs to help thousands of women, men, and their families, and to fund national research to find the cures.

Get Ready to Party!

You guys already know how passionate I am about organizations like this one. Anything I can do to help raise awareness for breast cancer and support all of those warriors out there is an honor. Join me as I prepare for the Pink Party and let’s kick breast cancer to the curb! Don’t worry, I’ll keep you in-the-know with updates and info on Instagram as we get closer to the big race!
