When I start looking for camp experiences for my kids, I always look for ones that provide lifelong memories and skills. While it can be tough to find camps geared specifically toward toddlers and pre-schoolers, I found some that welcome wee ones and cater to every type of budding personality.

I have been on the hunt specifically for my 5-year-old, Roman. He is all boy, all energy and all over the place. I wanted to find a half day camp that is super structured and really keeps him busy learning and trying new things. I run the gamut with age groups, having a ten, nine, five and a one year old this year! Looks like The Bay Club has something for all the Schaffer kids this summer.

Putting parents’ minds at ease, all Bay Club Camp Counselors are First Aid, AED and CPR certified. Their main focus is ensuring that Bay Club Campers are having fun, being safe at all times, and creating memorable summer camp experiences.

This summer marks 15 years of interactive camps at The Bay Club. With their summer line up filled with a variety of programs, lessons, and events, this year the Schaffer kids will have plenty to choose from, with full and half day options. A Perk? I, too, can hang around and get a work out in, find a quiet place to work, enjoy a spa service or simply relax. The Bay Club is the one place where I can surrender my role of CEO of my home. I can actually connect with others in person and top off my workout with a smoothie. I love that I can bring my baby and know he’s in exceptionally good hands while my other children are enjoying camp activities. Learning new games like Pickleball and putting that the pickleball paddle we got for Christmas to good use. I have found everything I could possibly need, and look forward to enrolling my kids in some summer fun at The Bay Club. Is it summer yet?!

WHATS NEW THIS SUMMER?

All-Access

Looks like The Bay Club is rolling all the fun of Theme Camp and Sports Camp into one! This year, campers will be divided up by age-group* and will rotate through a variety of weekly changing age-appropriate sports, art projects, and activities. They are confident that this new format will provide campers and their families an even better and more memorable experience. Scroll down to see what a “typical” day at Camp is all about. One great thing to note as well, is that there will be an option for the kids to have lunch so you don’t have to pack a daily lunch if time doesn’t permit.

Age-groups are subject to change based on enrollment levels, but as a general rule will be: 2.5 – 4 yrs, 5 – 6 yrs, 7 – 8 years, and 9 – 12 years. Every week will include lessons in swim, hip-hop, yoga & tennis. Art projects and group games will change weekly.

Many of the camps include “water play” and or “pool time.” You can be confident that each instructor is CPR/First Aid Certified Camp Team, and is at a ratio of 1:5.
