What happens when you mix spring skiing, world-class wine, and a little college scouting for your daughter? The most unforgettable family spring break trip ever, that’s what.

We packed up the fam and headed to Park City, Utah, where snow meets style and the mountains know how to party. From slope-side sips to serious dance team dreams, here’s the full scoop on our epic Park City adventure.

Pendry Park City: Where Luxury Meets the Lift Line

If you’re planning a trip to Park City and want to be in the heart of the action, there’s only one name you need to know: Pendry Park City. This sleek, ski-in, ski-out resort in Canyons Village is a dream come true for families, foodies, and après-ski aficionados alike.

Kita at Pendry Park City

Our favorite on-property gem? Kita—an Asian-inspired restaurant with dishes that are both elevated and comforting (hello, miso black cod). Whether we were winding down after a full ski day or fueling up for a night out, Kita hit the spot every time.

Park City Wine Festival: Cheers to Spring Skiing and Sips

Talk about timing! We were lucky enough to be in town for the Park City Wine Festival, hosted right at the Pendry. It was like the universe just knew we needed some après-ski rosé and a little mingling with wine pros from around the world.

We tasted incredible vintages from Napa and Sonoma, discovered some mind-blowing Utah-based distilleries, and even sipped a few wellness-inspired spirits that totally surprised me. Local breweries and small-batch creations rounded it all out. It was like a passport to the world—one sip at a time.

The People You Meet on the Mountain…

From chatting with winemakers and restauranteurs, to bumping into fellow creators and even making some new ski friends on the gondola, Park City was full of the best kind of energy. Of course, the highlight was sharing it all with my BFF and her family—there’s nothing like making memories with your ride-or-die crew in fresh powder.

What I Wore: Spring Skiing, But Make It Fashion

Ski fashion is always a moment, and I leaned all the way in. I rocked some seriously fun ski suits that kept me warm, stylish, and visible to my crew on the mountain. And let’s not forget my go-to accessory: Blenders Eyewear. Their shades and goggles are not only cute but totally functional for high-altitude sunshine. Use Code CITYGIRL for 20% off!

College Tours & Dance Team Dreams: Utah Edition

No trip would be complete without a little family life sprinkled in. We made a special stop at The University of Utah, where my daughter Dylan is considering heading for college in the fall. The campus? Stunning. The dance team? 🔥 She even got a taste of what it would be like to join—and let’s just say, this mama may have gotten a little teary. (Okay, a lot teary.)

Tips for Planning Your Spring Break in Park City

  1. Book early – Especially at Pendry! Rooms fill up fast when festivals or spring skiing are in full swing.
  2. Layer up smart – Spring temps mean warm days and chilly nights. Pack lightweight gear that layers well.
  3. Don’t skip ski school – Whether it’s your first time or your fiftieth, Park City instructors are top-tier.
  4. Plan après-ski moments – Wine, hot tubs, or spa time—schedule it like you would a ski run.
  5. Add a day for exploring – College tours, Main Street shopping, or just soaking in the views—make time for more than the mountain.
