When Katy Perry Calls… You Answer!

Some calls you just don’t ignore—and when Katy Perry is involved, you pack your bags and head straight to New York City. In my opinion, the best city in the world for a concert! Listen up, mamas. Find an artist you love, and plan the trip.

We kicked off our trip in style with a stay at the Hilton Times Square in the heart of it all with the best views of the Empire State Building skyline and Hudson River views. Plus, it’s proximity to Madison Square Garden can’t be beat!

Click here for the hotel’s downloadable e-brochure: HiltonNYTimesSquare_HotelBrochure I found it super helpful when looking for the perfect centrally located hotel to rest our heads between all our NYC adventures.

On the Itinerary

First stop: Harry Potter on Broadway. Watching the magic come alive on stage? Total goosebumps. Brody was mesmerized, and honestly, so was I.

Shopping in Soho, Don’t Mind if We Do

Of course, no NYC trip is complete without a little retail therapy. Our Mama/Son Shopping Day in Soho was the perfect opportunity to find unique, wearable pieces and make some memories. And yes, we made room for a sweet treat (or three!)—because nothing fuels a shopping spree like gelato.

Glam Squad, Because… NYC

For the ultimate NYC look, I always make time for me, too. Whether it’s a concert, Fashion Week (book early!), or just a special day out with my girls, a little pampering goes a long way. Moms deserve to feel fabulous, and Glam Squad makes it easy. They come to you, after all! Book your Glam Squad appointment here and treat yourself—you deserve it!

The Magic of Katy Perry in Madison Square Garden

Then…it was time. Katy Perry. Madison Square Garden. Sold out. The energy was electric. We had a hype squad dance party before the show and an afterparty that spilled into the streets of NYC. Watch all of the action on my NYC highlights reel. There’s nothing like experiencing Madison Square Garden with a sold-out crowd—it’s iconic, unforgettable, and full of pure joy.

Because adventures are always better with friends, we surprised four of our friends with tickets to join us. Concerts, trips, dancing, laughing—it’s all about making memories together.

And while we were soaking up the city, we made a few more iconic stops: FAO Schwarz, where we danced on the giant piano, and Tavern on the Green, the storybook dining spot perfect for brunch, dinner, or just a quick photo op.
