Spring break to the British Virgin Islands hasn’t even started yet and my kids are already filing complaints.

“Is the flight long?”
“Do they even have good food there?”
“Are we going to have WiFi?”

Meanwhile I’m over here like… I planned the trip, booked the flights, packed half the house, and funded the entire vacation… and somehow I’m traveling with a panel of tiny travel critics who haven’t even left the driveway yet.

We haven’t even gotten on the plane and morale is already low for these deeply deprived children of mine. ✈️🏝️

Please tell me other parents are also raising luxury complainers. 😅

In honor of International Women’s Day… I spent the day watching a stage full of strong, confident girls absolutely owning it at nationals.

My daughter @dylanluciaschaffer and her team @lcchsdance remind me that when girls support each other, work hard, and hype each other up, they become unstoppable.

The future isn’t just female… it’s loud, powerful, and apparently has way better dance moves than I ever did.

So proud of this team and the incredible young women they are becoming.

Parenthood is wild because you spend weeks cheering, coordinating snacks, buying merch, washing uniforms, driving 47 carpools…

…and then somewhere around hour 6 on a folding chair you start thinking:

“Maybe… just maybe… we could wrap this tournament up in the first round.”

Not because you don’t love them.
Not because you’re not proud.

But because you’ve been awake since 5:30am, you’re on coffee #4, and the parking lot alone has taken three years off your life.

Parenting is unconditional love…
with very conditional tournament stamina. 😂
