I was fully prepared for the Valentine’s candy request.

Instead… my child asked for a Dr. Seuss lifestyle 😂

Not one book
Not one plush
A full commitment to The Cat in the Hat era

So we did a Kohl’s, Target and Walmart run, grabbed the classics, adopted Thing 1 and Thing 2, added a few stuffies for emotional support, and ended the night piled on the couch reading together.

No sugar crash
No chaos (okay… minimal chaos)
Just laughs, cuddles, and a story we all somehow know by heart

Turns out cozy reading night > candy every time ❤️

Hotel rooms with space to actually breathe >>>

The Wasatch Suite at @evo_hotel was the kind of room you walk into and instantly drop your bags like “okay… we’re good.” Exposed brick, clean modern design, tons of space to spread out and actually relax after full days running around Salt Lake City with my girl.

You know when a hotel room feels like somewhere you want to hang out, not just sleep? This was that.
