Keeping Stylish All Spring With Light Knits

When the weather starts to warm up, all I want to wear are flowy dresses, mini skirts, and comfy shorts. But sometimes the weather disagrees with my fashion choices, and every now and then it gets just a little chilly, especially in the evenings. I’m the mom that always reminds my kids to bring a sweater with them everywhere we go “just in case.” So of course, I have to listen to my own advice! When the weather gets cool, I toss on a light, spring knit and it keeps me warm and stylish, from spring through summer!

Choosing a soft knit means I’ll stay warm, but won’t get too hot, and the light spring colors make it perfect for the season. Most sweaters pair great with jeans or jean shorts and are easy to accessorize with sunnies and my favorite Gigi Pip hat. If you expect any spring showers (or get cold easily like I do) bring along a light trench—just in case! My favorite is this grosgrain belted trench from Nordstrom. Now I’ll stay stylish and warm even on cold spring nights!
