How many times has this happened? In a rush to get dressed, you reach into your jewelry box to find a pair of earrings, only to come up with one.  Or how about when your favorite necklace is tangled with two other necklaces.  I truly don’t have time to sit with pins untangling my dainty pieces, so I had to find a solution.

I have been on a hunt to find some genius ideas to help organize my jewelry.
With a quick search on Etsy I found an inspiring way to organize my baubles. Not only will I never again have struggle to unearth that long-lost necklace, I’ll be able to display my favorite pieces beautifully and stylishly.

My jewelry was a mess.  I was using a painted piece of wood with decorative hooks, but way too much jewelry on it.  You can’t mix the delicate pieces with the bigger ones.

As the years go on, clothes, jewelry and stuff can really start to accumulate.  Trying to downsize and keep things organized seems to be my goal year after year.  As you can see my jewelry needed some help.

When I came across Fairly Well on Etsy, I knew this was my answer.  Julia, a mother of two, and a former chemist turned maker, made her first set of jewelry racks to solve her own storage problems and has been pleasantly surprised that other people love them too.

Julia hand makes these display racks using locally milled wood and mini silver or brass hooks.  She uses a strong adhesive that sticks directly to the wall making installation simple.  I can’t begin to tell you how nice it has been to use this display from Fairly Well for my more delicate pieces.  I was also able to keep my old display for the much larger necklaces.

Forget about stashing your jewelry away in some boring box or tangling your pieces like I did.  Instead, use this creative idea for organizing and displaying all your pretty necklaces, rings, and earrings. This has made it easy for me to grab and go, and add a decorative element to the room.

A perk? Julia has been thrilled to support local and semi-local businesses, sourcing lumber from a nearby mill and hardware in-state.  Follow her on Instagram to see where she is going next with her beautiful, affordable displays.  You can also visit her store on Etsy.

I would love to hear from you!  How are you displaying your jewels?
