🎉🎈 Happy Sweet 16, Dylan! 🎈🎉 Today we celebrate the girl who made her grand entrance as a dazzling 10-pound bundle, leaving us in awe from her very first breath. As a mom, that moment when I first held her, I knew she was destined to light up our lives. And oh, has she shone brightly!

Dylan, our precious daughter and sister to three brothers, continues to sprinkle laughter and joy wherever she goes. Whether she’s owning the dance floor with her killer moves or cracking jokes and being goofy with her friends, she’s the heartbeat of our family. 🌟 Lights, camera, action! Last night was truly magical at the Culver City Theater for the red carpet premiere of Amazon Kids’ series, Surprise And Seek, starring the incredible Brody and his talented friends! 🎬✨

👏 I’m so grateful I could step out for a few hours and support our son during this milestone, even as I continue on my recovery journey. It was a huge success and a testament to the hard work of these amazing young stars.

😫Ridden With Regret!

2 1/2 weeks post-abdominal surgery, and celebrating the little things like getting to row 2 on my belly compression garment when you are ridden with guilt. 😫 The journey has been tougher than I imagined. Days feel like an eternity when I can’t help shuffle my family along. Every day brings its own challenges coupled with regrets—. But I’m holding onto hope and searching for that turning point where recovery truly begins. ☀️CHECKING IN- 2 weeks post-op update!

After four incredible kids, I made the choice to undergo surgery—part necessity, part choice—all to feel like myself again. 🌼 At this point in time I am having feelings of regret. I know it’s a process that I didn’t realize would be so long. And I know regret can be part of the journey.

For those who don’t know I am 2 weeks post-op with a 4-part abdominal surgery and struggling with the slow healing process and not being me. I am trying wholeheartedly to be a positive human and having a hard time embracing the journey of healing and self-love. 🙏🏼❤️

The recovery road has been debilitating and so slow and I am not seeing a light at the end of the tunnel and it’s being coupled with not seeing my wanted results because it’s only a few weeks out. I know i need more time… and each day feels so so long. I am on a slow quest to turn a corner. 🙏🏼

Today I decided to address my concerns with my daughter as I never want her to go through this. I want her to love her herself and remember: her body is her own beautiful vessel through life’s adventures. Your body will change with every chapter and one day it will grow life into this world and it’s ok for it to change. You are to love yourself and embrace the beautiful person you are! You never need to change YOU! I cried a big cry saying “Mommy thinks she made a mistake” and I am owning that. 🙏🏼🥺

Here’s to being honest, patient, here’s to healing, and loving ourselves through every chapter. And to finding that corner I so desperately want to turn. 💖
